The annual Town of Bala Cranberry Festival was held this past weekend from 13 Friday to 15 Sunday October 2023.
Since Ozzy’s Golf Driving Range is located on Muskoka Road #169 (Frank Miller Memorial Route) just north of the festival and only a minute’s walking distance, our parking area is perfect for visitors to the event. This is our second year to offer parking and raise money for the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary.
Aspen Valley suggests we “Keep Wildlife Wild”… and have garnered a reputation for rehabilitating wild animals and providing permanent residency (where necessary) to foxes, bears, lynx, bobcats and others. Upon appointment, the public is able to visit the sanctuary. Please check out the AspenValley.ca website for more information about the animals in their care, visits and fundraising.
With the support of Ozzy’s Range, its customers, staff and visitors to the Cranberry festival, a cheque for $585 was presented to Aspen Valley Sanctuary volunteers Alison and Sue for the ongoing care of our local wildlife.
